Force-V - IoT Data Analytics Project

Force-V is a solar monitoring platform that transforms live inverter and plant data into clear operational insight. Data Function engineered the IoT, data, API, web and mobile layers needed to collect readings across connected devices, store high-volume time-series information and present performance in near real time. The resulting system gives operations teams multi-site visibility into production, consumption, equipment status

  • Hardware Device Integration: Seamless integration with various solar panel hardware via an MQTT broker for robust data ingestion.

  • Scalable Data Storage: Utilized MySQL database to efficiently store vast amounts of real-time sensor data.

  • High-Performance API Framework: Developed custom APIs to deliver optimized data to front-end applications with sub-second retrieval times.

  • Intuitive Web & Mobile Dashboards: User-friendly interfaces built with React.js for web and React Native for Android/iOS, providing comprehensive overviews and detailed analytics.

  • Proactive Alerting & Reporting: Automated alerts for performance anomalies and customizable reports for in-depth analysis.

Connecting Solar Hardware, Data and Dashboards

Data Function created an end-to-end monitoring ecosystem for Force-V. An MQTT broker receives live streams from solar hardware; MySQL stores structured plant and performance data; and custom APIs deliver that data to responsive user interfaces. React.js powers the web dashboard, while React Native supports Android and iOS applications. Together, these layers give operators a consistent view of live energy flow, historical trends, plant status and active faults across a growing portfolio of sites.

Scalable Visibility for Solar Operations

The Force-V platform has operated in production for more than two years and supports monitoring across more than 100 plants. Centralized, near-real-time visibility reduces fragmented reporting, improves access to performance data and creates a stronger foundation for managing a larger renewable-energy portfolio.

Mobile App (App Store & Play Store)

The React Native mobile app synchronizes with Force-V’s central APIs to give technicians, managers and clients access to live plant performance, system alerts and quick reports from a smartphone. Push notifications help users respond to anomalies while away from the desktop dashboard. Verify and link the current App Store and Google Play listings before publishing store-specific claims.
