The business

A residential summer camp and outdoor-education centre near Minden, Ontario, serving families and school groups.

The problem

  • Parents could not picture the physical layout of a large camp site from a list of pages.
  • A very large photo collection had to be browsable without slowing the site down.
  • Registration, dates and rates were hard to find on a phone.

How we solved it

  1. 01

    WordPress with Elementor plus custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript for an interactive camp map (hover hotspots with pop-up details) and an extended gallery with automatic playback and visitor controls.

    A clear structure for camp life, programs, activities, contact and registration, with prominent registration pathways.

  3. 03

    Email delivery, backups and caching configured so a small team can run the site.
