The business

A Scarborough general contractor that wins work from homeowners who research online first.

The problem

  • Small-business sites are rarely built to a formal accessibility standard, which excludes customers and exposes the business under AODA.

How we solved it

  1. 01

Static HTML, CSS and JavaScript with a PHP quote form, WebP images with fallbacks, JSON-LD structured data and a sitemap.

  2. 02

WCAG 2.2 Level AA: zero axe-core violations on every page, the open mobile menu and the open dialog; contrast checked against real photos; reflow at 320 px and 200% zoom; accessible form errors; reduced motion respected.

How they use it to grow

  • Zero automated accessibility violations on every page.
  • The standard we hold every website build to.
